Siemens AG — Enterprise Team Alignment
May 2023
Why It Worked One focused workshop created enough clarity that multiple follow-up sessions were requested. Siemens proved that enterprise alignment doesn't require months of consulting — it requires the right conversation, the right people, and clear ownership.
The Real Outcome A large enterprise team walked in with competing priorities and unclear ownership. They walked out with clear decisions and named owners — and immediately booked follow-up sessions to sustain the momentum.
The Challenge
Siemens AG’s Berlin team faced a classic enterprise problem: large team alignment across multiple divisions with competing priorities. Multiple stakeholders, competing agendas, and unclear decision ownership meant progress was stalled and momentum was lost.
They needed structured facilitation to surface the real bottlenecks and establish clear ownership for next steps.
What We Did
We facilitated a full-day workshop (Gesamtmoderation) with the entire team, using proven conversation and decision-making techniques:
- Structured dialogue to surface competing priorities and unspoken tensions
- Named ownership — each decision paired with a specific person responsible
- Action clarity — teams left knowing exactly what happens next and who owns it
- Adaptive follow-up — when the original agenda didn't work perfectly, we pivoted to a replacement program that better served their needs
Results
- Clear decisions with explicit ownership
- Aligned direction across divisions
- Repeat bookings — the team immediately scheduled follow-up sessions
- Sustained momentum — because decisions stuck and owners stayed accountable
